Bexar County SMWBE/DBE Directory

Certification retains the SMWBE program integrity and optimizes SMWBE participation in Bexar County contracting through an evaluation process. Bexar County may rely on the certification credentials granted by agencies approved by Bexar County Commissioners Court to identify eligible small, disadvantaged, minority, women, disabled, and veteran business enterprises in their pursuit of contracting and procurement opportunities..

Search the Bexar County SMWBE/DBE Directory by entering search terms and clicking Search. Businesses listed are either currently active firms with the County, or have been selected to be included in the directory. For the full directories of certified firms recognized by Bexar County as SMWBE firms, please visit South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA), Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program, City of Houston, Houston METRO Transit Authority, City of Austin, and the Texas Unified Certification Program (TUCP).

For DBE firms, an agreement mandated by Federal DOT establishes a central directory (UCP) located on the State of Texas website. The combined TUCP directory contains DBE firms certified by all TUCP partner agencies, including SCTRCA, NCTRCA, the City of Austin, the City of Houston, and TX DOT. Please use this directory when searching for DBE certified firms for credit on U.S. DOT funded projects.

Each certifying entity is committed to ensuring that only firms meeting the eligibility criteria to participate in contracting and procurement as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disabled Individual Business Enterprise (DIBE), Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) are certified in accordance to their specific Standards.
